The much debated Vicker’s Village, a mixed-use development proposed for the corner of Canton St. and Woodstock Rd., has been approved by the City Council with contingencies. The Unified Development Code allows for such structures to be built in this area up to 3 stories tall. The structure in question requested a variance that would allow for a fourth story on the back side of the development. While the project itself was approved, the variance was denied.
