Steve Stroud is a community leader, currently serving as the Executive Director of Roswell Inc, which promotes economic development through a public-private partnership with the City of Roswell. Roswell Inc, under Stroud’s leadership, has marketed an expanded Opportunity Zone, increasing the number of certified businesses, and launched networking/educational/informative programs to assist and retain local businesses. Stroud and his staff continue to forge an open line of communication between business owners, developers, citizens, corporations, non-profits and various entities. Roswell Inc continues to foster these relationships to enhance the quality of the community.

Previously, Stroud owned and operated Stroud’s Printing and Design for 30 years in Roswell, Georgia. Stroud has actively participated in community and nonprofits throughout Roswell for over 20 years. Stroud attended Georgia State University, with a focus in political science. A Roswell native, Stroud remains residing in Roswell, Georgia with his wife and three daughters.

Carisa Turner leads all strategic communications efforts for the organization, overseeing public relations, media relations, executive communications, brand and marketing communications, digital and social, community engagement, public affairs and advocacy, and stakeholder relations. 

Before joining Roswell Inc, she spent several years in the community relations office for the City of Roswell, where she managed public relations, media relations, social media, marketing and public outreach for the city. While there, she launched and managed the award-winning #WhenInRoswell campaign. 

Her professional career began in public and government affairs for The Trust for Public land, a national land conservation nonprofit. From there, Carisa held positions with global PR agency Cohn & Wolfe, the arts education division of the Woodruff Arts Center, and commercial real estate giant CBRE. 

She received a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish, with a minor in Business Administration, from Mercer University. She lives in Woodstock with her husband and three children and is also an award-winning songwriter.

As Business Development & Government Specialist, Debra Ewing is the primary business contact for Roswell Inc, overseeing new business outreach, relationship building with current business owners, sponsorship development and helping local businesses work with City of Roswell staff on items related to city ordinances and regulations pertaining to business operation and site development. 

Before joining Roswell Inc, she worked as program manager for the education center at the City of Roswell’s Johns Creek Environmental Campus, where she developed a comprehensive environmental education program for elementary, middle and high school students and managed campus tours for visitors, businesses, school and the public. 

Prior, Debra worked as assistant to Fulton County Commissioners Robert Fulton and Lynne Riley. In this role, she represented the Commissioners at public meetings and helped to evaluate and solve problems for constituents in those districts – with specific responsibility for the county’s public works, community development, library services, parks and recreation, and tax assessor and tax commissioner departments. 

She began her professional career as a contract administrator for the Fulton County Public Buildings Department, where she managed renovation and repair contracts for county facilities and coordinated projects from bids to project and contract management. 

Debra has a B.S. in Public Administration from Georgia State University’s College of Public and Urban Affairs. She lives in Roswell with her husband and has two sons and three granddaughters.

As Marketing & Creative Specialist, Ashley Allen manages Roswell Inc’s website, coordinates email marketing, and designs print and digital media. Ashley also manages Roswell Inc’s industry support events—Roswell Restaurant Week and Summer Sippin’. For these events, she oversees recruitment, website management, social media, email marketing, restaurant communications, design and advertising. 

Before joining the Roswell Inc team, Ashley worked as a freelance designer, with clients such as Prosper Insurance Group and Quirkie Kids. Her work with Quirkie Kids, a Los Angeles based gender neutral kids clothing company, has been featured on UpWorthy, CNN and The Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family. 

Ashley graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a B.A. in Art Studio focusing in Graphic Design and a Minor in Computer Mediated Communications. She lives in Kennesaw with her husband and three dogs, and when she’s not working she enjoys gardening, hiking and crafting.

As Business Development, Retail and Events Specialist, Kimberly Allred meets with businesses daily to better understand their needs and offer resources and solutions to help them thrive. She also manages events and sponsorships for Roswell Inc, from networking and professional development events, to economic development alliance luncheons, to ribbon cuttings for local businesses, to annual signature events such as State of the City. Additionally, Kimberly oversees the organization’s business ambassador and volunteer group, the Community Connectors. 

Kimberly found her niche in economic development while working as both a retail recruitment coordinator and project manager with The Retail Coach, a national real estate advisory and recruitment firm. Prior to joining Roswell Inc, she also served as the operations director for a political consulting group and worked as an independent business and marketing consultant. 

She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish. She also received a M.B.A. from The University of Mississippi. When not working, Kimberly can be found painting, running, and spending time with her husband at their home in Roswell.

Tori Davis is the Administrative Coordinator for Roswell Economic Development and Tourism, Inc., the organization that oversees both the city of Roswell’s economic development program, Roswell Inc, and its tourism program, Visit Roswell. In this role, she supports the program’s executive directors, along with overseeing the administration needs of both offices. 

Prior to this, Tori worked as executive assistant to C-suite executives at Hospitality Staffing Solutions, a back of house hotel staffing company, and at Hodges-Mace. Her professional experience also includes working in events and communication for the College Football Hall of Fame, Cox Media Group, and Gordon State College.  

Tori graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Training and Development, in which she focused on interpersonal and organizational communication. 

She grew up in Roswell and now lives in the city with her husband and their lab mix named Georgia. When not working, Tori, her husband, and Georgia can be found outside on the golf course, watching the Georgia Bulldogs play, or walking along the Roswell Riverwalk.
