The Southern Post mixed-use development in the heart of the city’s historic district will include 90,000 square feet of office space, 40,000+ square feet of retail space, 128 apartments, 9 town homes, and a 400+ space parking deck. This highly anticipated project will serve as a catalyst for additional redevelopment along SR 9/Alpharetta Highway and is expected to break ground in late 2021. Recent tenant announcements include Ponko Chicken, Da Vinci’s Donuts and Silla Del Toro.

Business Class Hotels

With a projected increase in demand of 4.2% for business class hotels in Roswell per year through 2023, the city responded by facilitating the development of multiple new hotel projects. Since 2017, three business class hotels have been announced for Roswell, and all three will be located near much of the city’s Class A office space.

Home2 Suites by Hilton and Springhill Suites by Marriott both opened in 2020. Home2 Suites is a 5-story, 106-room hotel with executive suites, an indoor pool, fitness center and meeting rooms. Located nearby, Springhill Suites is a 4-story, 90-room hotel with an indoor pool, fitness center and business center.

In 2018, it was announced that an Element by Westin would be coming to Westside Parkway, and in April 2021, it was announced that the project would be changing brands to a Residence Inn by Marriott. The new plans call for an L-shaped, 5-story hotel that totals 80,000 square feet with 100 rooms.
