Allen-BarkerAllen Barker has more than 25 years of retail and commercial banking experience that began with C&S National Bank.  He joined Bank of North Georgia (now Synovus) in 1997 as Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer.  In 1999, he was promoted to Senior Vice President in Corporate Banking and became the Team Leader in 2003.  In 2005, Allen was named Regional Market President, and under his leadership his region grew to encompass managing the operations of 13 branches and 6 commercial lending teams in 6 counties.  In 2012, he was named Chief Community Banking Executive with responsibility for the Atlanta Community Banking Division for Synovus which included four (4) banking regions in 16 metro Atlanta counties as well as the Retail Banking Division, which included 41 branches.  Today, Allen is the Division CEO for the North Georgia Division of Synovus Bank. Allen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a 2002 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is a 2005 graduate of the Leadership North Fulton program and a 2007 graduate of Leadership Forsyth.

In addition to serving as a board member of Roswell Economic Development and Tourism, Inc., Allen also currently serves his community as the co-chair for the North Metro Miracle League Carl Black No Limits Classic Golf Tournament, member of Roswell Inc’s Economic Development Alliance, and Advisory Board Member of Allied Financial Corporation.


Mike-Hampton

Mike Hampton grew up in an urban setting on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio.  He studied engineering and construction at the University of Cincinnati where he graduated with degrees in Construction Management and Environmental Engineering. Along Mike’s professional journey he has worked in a variety of positions from Field Engineer to Project Manager to Project Executive to Division Manager to COO. His resume encompasses a wide variety of building types from office, hotels, industrial, student housing, retail, senior living, schools and hospitals. He has led business units in four different cities and considers his most prized accomplishment the development of many leaders who have grown in stature in the industry.  He currently serves as the Chief Administrative  Officer for Choate Construction Company, based in Atlanta. Choate has six offices in the southeast (Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte, Nashville, Raleigh, and Savannah) with annual revenues in excess of $1 Billion.  Choate’s 32-year history has created a wide diversity in clients and buildings.

In addition to serving as a board member of Roswell Economic Development & Tourism, Inc., Mike is a Roswell Rotarian and also currently serves on the North Fulton Community Charities Board, The Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Board of Advisors, and Roswell Inc’s Economic Development Alliance.
