
Roswell Inc celebrated our 13th Annual Insight Roswell Luncheon (formerly State of the City) in grand style, bringing together over 450 attendees and 140 sponsors—making this year’s event the largest to date. Presented by Synovus Bank and Vestis Uniforms and Workplace Supplies, the luncheon showcased Roswell’s economic momentum, honored outstanding leaders, and unveiled exciting developments for the city’s future.
The day began with an exclusive Mayor’s Reception, where Mayor Kurt Wilson shared insights into Roswell’s progress and vision for the future. The main luncheon program opened with remarks from presenting sponsors and the presentation of Roswell Economic Development & Tourism’s annual awards. Among the honorees, Frank Brown, Founder & CEO of Brown and Company, received the 2025 Impact Award for his decades of community leadership, including his tenure as a business owner for over 50 years, former City Councilmember and past President of Roswell Rotary. Jon-Paul Croom, President of Wellstar North Fulton Hospital, was presented with the 2025 Above & Beyond Award in recognition of his dedicated leadership as past President and current Chairman of Roswell Economic Development & Tourism, Inc.
Board President John Asbell highlighted Roswell Inc’s recent accomplishments, including its reaccreditation by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), its first IEDC Excellence in Economic Development Award, and the 2025 Al Burruss Creative Expression Award for the collaborative Roswell Brew Talks podcast, a partnership between Roswell Inc and Visit Roswell.
Steve Stroud, President & CEO of Roswell Inc, and Andy Williams, President & CEO of Visit Roswell, delivered an Economic Development Update, showcasing key market trends and major projects driving Roswell’s growth. The event also featured its first-ever keynote speaker, Will Baggett—acclaimed author, entrepreneur, and former sports entertainment professional—who inspired the audience with a powerful message on connection, legacy leadership, and community building.
The luncheon concluded with a look at Roswell’s exciting future, including the relocation of Roswell’s Public Safety HQ, a first look at the Hill Street mixed-use development, and progress on a sports-anchored stadium in partnership with United Soccer League (USL).
